    Summer is just around the corner and I'm busier than ever!
     Not only am I busy writing new books, it's a great time for a nonfiction author, like myself, to help bring the Common Core State Standards into schools. I've also been lucky enough to be asked to speak about the new Common Core State Standards and how they relate to nonfiction in the classroom at the NJEA Conference again this fall since last year's conference was cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy.
     I'm excited about the publication of my three new holday joke books. These were so much fun to write and and research. In addition to jokes, riddles, knock-knock jokes, tongue twisters, and limericks, each chapter includes fun facts about the holiday. And now all of my joke books are available in paperback and as eBooks!
     Currently, I'm busy writing more books for a new military series that will be published in 2014.
     In addition to writing I'm looking forward to hot sunny days reading by the pool!
